Nothing beats the taste of a refreshing smoothie on a summer day. That’s why I set out to master a few simple but new recipes that I can go to when my fruit stockpile is full and I need a typical consumer juice alternative. Remember, smoothies allow you to keep the fiber from all of the delicious fruits (and vegetables when added) which helps with the proper break down of sugar. Don’t be scared to make an extra large serving for yourself – I mean for sharing.
Orange-y Berry Smoothie Blast

- Blender
Ingredients
- 2 whole oranges medium
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/8 cup acai frozen
- 1/2 cup ice
Instructions
- Peel oranges and cut stem of the strawberries
- Add all ingredients to the blender. Blend well.
- Slurp to your heart's delight. Finish beverage.
