Strawberries also hold their color fairly well. That’s why our recipes include a variety of fruits like bananas, strawberries, mango, and blueberries, which are all kid favorites. I mean, what kid doesn’t love the sweet flavor of mangos and blueberries? We also sneak in some vegetables like spinach, cauliflower, or kale to add an extra boost of nutrients, but don’t worry, your little one won’t even taste them! We’ve been able to successfully add in chia seeds, greek yogurt, and other healthy fats to our little picky eater with no problem. By the end of this, you’ll be able to pat yourself on the back. So, if you’re looking for some tasty and nutritious smoothie recipes that your toddler will actually enjoy, look no further. You’re sure to have your kids love one of these recipes if not all of them! For our most skeptical eaters, a teaspoon of sprinkles or flax on top may make it more enticing to try. When you find a great recipe that you and your little ones love (because you get to enjoy these too, you know?), you can start to prepare them fresh or frozen. If you’d like to pre-make these, simple freeze all of the ingredients in a freezer safe container and enjoy anytime. You may need t add a dash of extra almond milk (or milk of your choice) if it gets too chunky and you want a smoother yield.
That’s it for now! Be sure to give yourself a good reason to healthily indulge before the end of summer, my friends. Catch you next time!
